Being a travel agent is one of the most versatile careers that requires a potpourri of skills, patience, and a resilient mind. You need to acquire an excellent business acumen, comprehensive knowledge of suppliers, accommodation types, geography, technology, government regulations, insurance, selling techniques…and the list goes on. But above all: you need to be passionate about making your clients' travel dreams come true.
In training hundreds of successful agents, we've found that there are five common factors of success. If you can check off at least 3 of the 5 factors to success, you have the highest chances!
